High Concept

There isn't a common figure in my discourses but their is a common object so to speak. That would be media, in my career it would be the USG and its approach to explain what needs are met through the consumption of media. In my family discourse I talk about my first cell phone which was my first encounter with new media and then the first book series that I read as a kid as well as my favorite tv show that I grew up watching that made a lot of connections with who I am as a person. Media connects all my discourses which in a way doesn't surprise me because of how deep my interst is in studying it and its effects but in terms of my relationship with it I think it is a tool of knowledge but also something I use for my own personal day to day tasks.
