“Communication”
Communication or “the act of communicating” can be
simply defined as exchanging news and information from person to person.
Anything form a head nod or handshake to an email falls under communicating. A
simple process but complicated method due to the rapid growth and introduction
of technology. They we communicate has evolved from 150 years ago to last year.
Communicating is essential to everyone’s daily life and without it there would
sure be chaos, but the way we are communicating these days has totally revamped
the term and brought a whole new meaning to the word “communicating”. Things
like writing a letter, sending a post card, and even phone calls are on the
verge of becoming “socially” obsolete. With the invention of the cell phone,
internet and now social media it is now more prominent to send a tweet or text
rather than make an actual phone call and in some instances even more effective
or acceptable. We are in the age of the cell phone and it has drastically
changed the way we as people look, study, and define the term communication.
